Our artist for the day, Vibha Agarwal, beautifies products and gives them a vintage, old world feel by using the art of decoupage. Her designs and patterns adorn products we use in our day to day life, adding an aesthetic charm to them.
Vibha is the chief designer at Kaagaz Pattar, while her sister Anshu Agarwal is her partner in crime. Anshu is the design consultant, photographer and is also in charge of marketing. Vibha’s husband has been her pillar of support and is always around whenever she needs a helping hand. They work together to fulfill the growing number of orders through Facebook and also take part in exhibitions.
Like most modern day success stories, Kaagaz Pattar started off as a Facebook page in 2016, primarily to document Vibha’s work. Talent never goes unrecognized and with help from family and friends, Vibha’s work gained popularity and Kaagaz Pattar is now a growing venture. Vibha is a self-taught artist who’s always been inclined to arts and crafts, although she holds an MBA degree in Finance. ‘I chose to learn more about my passion instead of pursuing a career in the corporate world. Videos, help from friends and some trial and error taught me a lot about the art Decoupage,’ says Vibha.
Vibha is open to customizations as well and takes roughly around 15-20 days to cater to a product. If you’re looking to display accessories for easy access (Think of how many minutes you’ll save in a day just thinking about what to wear!), the jewelry organizer with a glass top and 40 detachable partitions is something her customers swear by.
The next time you’re looking for a customizable, personalized gift for your loves ones, you know where to find the right buy-
